About Me

I have enjoyed the art of stitching for many years – crocheting, knitting, embroidery, sewing decorative items, and quilting. My Mom was a huge influence on me through the years. She created beautiful quilts for several people in our family, and they will be forever treasured.

After I retired from teaching in 2023, I found that I had plenty of time to work on the art that I love. I focus my attention on designing and creating small hand-stitched fabric collages to give as gifts and to sell. My fascination of fabric, more specifically the colors and patterns in fabric, is what drives my love of this form of art. The unique colors and patterns influence each specific design. The name Twisted Vine Stitches is from my love of nature which is a big influence on my art.
